The Doncaster Garden Bench is made from solid iroko timber, which is perfectly suited for the outdoors. Also known as African teak, iroko is a dense and durable timber that ranges in colour from yellow to light brown, and darkens to a rich grey-brown as the wood ages. Like teak, the wood has a high natural oil content, which makes it highly suitable for full and permanent outdoor use without any form of further treatment required. If exposed to the elements the wood weathers over time to a pleasing silver-grey tone.
